Yellowknife Public Library offers a fast growing collection of online resources, including ebooks and audiobooks. We invite you to meet one-on-one with a librarian to learn how to download e-books, and Audiobooks from the library's collection onto your e-reader, mobile device, or laptop.

You can also learn how to use the library's other great digital resources including Rocket Languages and Freegal Music.

Join one of our community clubs for a fun time learning new skills and meeting new people! Regular clubs include: Chess, Knitting, Board Games, Meditation, and Book Club!

Wednesday Story Time 2 - 4 years Drop In Program 

Story Time is a fun way to introduce your child to the joys of books and learning. Join us for stories, fun, and crafts in the library meeting room. We ask that a parent or caregiver attend with the child. Admission is free. Dayhomes are welcome.

Wednesdays, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  - No programs on Statutory Holidays or March Break

Thursday Baby Time 0 - 18 months Drop In Program 

Join us for a program that introduces you and your baby to the joy of music, rhyme, lap play, and more. This early childhood literacy program is for children aged 18 months and younger and their parent or caregiver. Siblings welcome. Admission is free.

Thursdays, 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. (Last half hour is socialization time) - No programs on Statutory Holidays or March Break
