The City of Yellowknife is excited to invite residents to take part in the 2024 Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Watch the downtown core come alive as community groups and festive floats take to the streets to spread holiday cheer!

We would like to thank all residents who participated in the online Santa Claus Parade survey. The results are in, and this year’s theme is “The Grinch”. We look forward to celebrating the holiday season with a dash of whimsy and a touch of mischief!

Community organi­zations, businesses and schools are invited to enter a float, vehicle(s), or a walking group in the parade. Registration opens on Friday, November 1, 2024 at www.yellowknife.ca/santaclaus. 

The official route and street closures will be announced closer to the parade date.
