Intervention in NTPC General Rate Application

Today, the Town of Hay River and the City of Yellowknife registered as interveners in the Northwest Territories Power Corporation (NTPC) General Rate Application (GRA) with the Public Utilities Board (PUB) for an overall power rate increase of 24.8%. Both communities will participate in the proceedings to ensure that rates remain as low as possible.

The City of Yellowknife (the City) is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2025 grants available through the City of Yellowknife. The application deadline for all grants is Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.

On October 28, 2024, the City of Yellowknife adopted By-law No. 5095, a by-law to amend Zoning By-law No. 5045, as amended, to add two new Residential Intensification Zones (RI and RI-1 Zone) and associated changes.
