2024 Super Bingo Date Change

In an effort to avoid a scheduling conflict with the Annual Charlie Zoe Nitsiza $150k Handgame Tournament and at the request of this year’s hosting organization, NWT Hockey, the City of Yellowknife (the City) has moved the 2024 Super Bingo from June 29, 2024, to June 22, 2024. The City of Yellowknife is unveiling its new emergency email notification system, which allows residents to sign up to receive immediate updates to their inboxes during an emergency situation.  This system will send residents an email with emergency updates when they occur, and will provide information on where people can go to get more details.

City Dog Impound Services

The City of Yellowknife (the City) wishes to advise residents of a change in service provider for the local dog pound effective June 1, 2024.

The City’s current dog impound services provider, Great Slave Animal Hospital (GSAH), has informed the City that effective June 1, they will no longer provide dog impound services.
