The City of Yellowknife (the City) wishes to advise the public of fraudulent text messages currently being sent to residents regarding parking tickets.
The City has become aware of text messages sent to residents stating a parking issue is not resolved, with a link that leads to an unknown website. These text messages are not being sent from the City, as information from the City regarding enforcement matters would never be communicated in this manner. Wildcat Closed for Season

Following the structure fire on Thursday, August 8, the City of Yellowknife regrets to inform residents that the Wildcat Café will be closed for the rest of the season. In the coming weeks, work will be done to restore the building, ensuring the café will be in good working condition for next summer.
